Important: This information is for educational and research purposes only. Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before use.

What is Vilon?

Vilon is a synthetic dipeptide bioregulator with the amino acid sequence Lys-Glu (KE). It is part of the Khavinson peptide bioregulator family, known for its immunomodulatory and tissue repair properties .

Vilon has emerged as a promising molecular tool for investigating immune function, tissue regeneration, and cellular aging in research models .

Mechanism of Action

Vilon functions through multiple pathways to support research models:

Immunomodulation

Regulates immune cell function and immune response pathways

Tissue Repair

Promotes wound healing and tissue regeneration processes

Epigenetic Effects

Modulates gene expression through epigenetic mechanisms

Vilon demonstrates immunomodulatory activity and promotes tissue repair through epigenetic regulation and DNA interaction .

Research Applications

Immunological Research

Immune modulation, T-cell function, immune response studies

Tissue Regeneration

Wound healing, tissue repair, regenerative medicine

Cellular Aging

Age-related immune decline, senescence studies

Epigenetic Studies

Gene expression regulation, chromatin remodeling

Clinical Studies

Key Research Findings:

  • Vilon demonstrates immunomodulatory activity in research models
  • Promotes tissue repair and wound healing processes
  • Part of the Khavinson peptide bioregulator system
  • Exhibits epigenetic regulatory effects on gene expression
