Testicular Support Tetrapeptide

AEDE Tetrapeptide Bioregulator for Reproductive Research

Important: This information is for educational and research purposes only. Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before use.

What is Testagen?

Testagen is a synthetic tetrapeptide bioregulator with the amino acid sequence Ala-Glu-Asp-Glu (AEDE). It is part of the Khavinson peptide bioregulator family, initially isolated from testicular tissue .

Testagen has emerged as a promising molecular tool for investigating reproductive endocrinology, testicular function, and hormonal regulation in research models .

Mechanism of Action

Testagen functions through multiple pathways to support reproductive research models:

DNA Interaction

Penetrates cell nuclei and binds to specific DNA sequences, modulating gene transcription

Testicular Cell Regulation

Regulates testicular cell function and reproductive tissue homeostasis

Epigenetic Effects

Modulates chromatin structure and gene expression patterns in testicular tissue

Testagen demonstrates tissue-specific regulatory activity on testicular cells, modulating gene expression and cellular function through DNA interaction and epigenetic mechanisms .

Research Applications

Reproductive Endocrinology

Testicular function, hormonal regulation, male reproductive health

Spermatogenesis

Sperm production and maturation studies

Cellular Aging

Age-related testicular changes, reproductive senescence

Epigenetic Studies

Gene expression regulation, chromatin remodeling in testicular tissue

Clinical Studies

Key Research Findings:

  • Testagen demonstrates tissue-specific regulatory activity on testicular cells
  • Modulates gene expression in testicular tissue models
  • Part of the Khavinson peptide bioregulator system targeting reproductive tissues
  • Promotes testicular tissue homeostasis through epigenetic mechanisms
