Contents
Pinealon is a synthetic tripeptide bioregulator with the amino acid sequence Glu-Asp-Gly (EDG), part of the Khavinson peptide bioregulator family initially isolated from pineal gland tissue.
Pinealon has emerged as a promising molecular tool for investigating pineal gland function, neuroendocrine regulation, and chronobiology in research models.
Penetrates cell nuclei and binds to specific DNA sequences
Regulates pineal gland function and neuroendocrine homeostasis
Modulates melatonin synthesis and circadian rhythm regulation
Sleep-wake cycles, melatonin production, chronobiology studies
Pineal-hypothalamic-pituitary axis, hormonal regulation
Pineal gland senescence, age-related neuroendocrine changes
Gene expression regulation, chromatin remodeling
