What is Hexarelin Acetate?

Hexarelin Acetate is a synthetic hexapeptide (His-D-2-methyl-Trp-Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH2) that acts as a potent growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHSR) agonist. It was developed as a highly potent growth hormone-releasing peptide that stimulates the pituitary gland to release endogenous growth hormone in a pulsatile manner.

Hexarelin is considered one of the most potent GHRPs available, with studies showing it can stimulate GH release at doses as low as 0.25-0.5 mcg/kg. Hexarelin is available in pen and freeze-dried vial formulations for research purposes.

How Hexarelin Works

Hexarelin works through a targeted mechanism to stimulate natural growth hormone release:

GHSR Agonist

Binds to GHSR with high potency, stimulating GH release

Pulsatile GH Release

Stimulates natural pulsatile growth hormone secretion pattern

High Potency

One of the most potent GHRPs, effective at very low doses

Hexarelin is often combined with a GHRH analog (such as CJC-1295 or Sermorelin) for enhanced synergistic GH release.

Research Applications

Growth Hormone Research

Studying pulsatile GH secretion and IGF-1 elevation

Muscle & Recovery

Researching muscle growth, recovery, and protein synthesis

Metabolic Research

Investigating lipolysis, fat metabolism, and energy balance

Combination Research

Synergistic effects with GHRH analogs (CJC-1295, Sermorelin)

Clinical Studies

Growth Hormone Secretagogue Activity

  • Hexarelin is one of the most potent GHRPs, effective at doses as low as 0.25-0.5 mcg/kg
  • Stimulates pulsatile GH release through the GHSR pathway
  • Higher potency than GHRP-2 and GHRP-6

Cardioprotective Effects

  • Hexarelin has demonstrated cardioprotective properties in preclinical studies
  • May improve cardiac function and reduce ischemic damage
  • Effects are mediated through GHSR signaling pathways

Combination Therapy

  • When combined with GHRH analogs, hexarelin shows enhanced synergistic GH release
  • Commonly stacked with CJC-1295 or Sermorelin for research purposes
  • Preserves natural pulsatile GH secretion patterns

️ Safety & Precautions

Hexarelin is generally well-tolerated at recommended doses. It is one of the most potent GHRPs available, so careful dose titration is recommended.

  • Injection site reactions: Mild redness, tenderness, or pain at injection site
  • Increased hunger: Due to ghrelin mimicry
  • Flushing or headache: Occasional and mild
  • Nausea: Rare, especially at higher doses

Important Safety Considerations:

  • Hexarelin is not FDA-approved for any indication
  • Human data is limited; most research is preclinical
  • Do not use if allergic to Hexarelin or any ingredients
  • Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding

️ Warning: Hexarelin is an investigational peptide with limited human safety data. If you experience severe allergic reactions, difficulty breathing, or signs of anaphylaxis, seek immediate medical help.
